A. Lange & Söhne, Germany's leading high-end watch manufacturer, made a surprise announcement on July 13th of two new products. It corresponds to the material and color variation of the previous version, but we introduce them together because they are new products that cannot be overlooked.
The 1815 Rattrapante Perpetual Calendar has been a hot topic since its launch in 2013. Differentiating the color of the chronograph second hand and the split second hand is a favorite of Lange und Sohne.
The movement is equipped with an in-house manual L101.1 caliber consisting of 631 parts, 43 jewels and 4 gold chatons (frequency, 3 hertz, power reserve approx. 42 hours). Functionally, of course, it is the same as its predecessor. It has a rattrapante (split second chronograph) function that can measure time simultaneously and continuously, and its mechanism is precisely controlled via two column wheels (actuated by a pusher at 10 o'clock on the case). And it is equipped with a perpetual calendar function that automatically displays the calendar for each month,replica omega including leap years, until February 2100.
